TROESMAS cumple 20 años / Troesmas turns 20 years old

 

Si hay algo anacrónico y vetusto en este mundo es un blog. Y sin embargo yo le tengo cariño a este Troesmas, que cumple 20 años. El primer posteo de Troesmas, de mayo del 2006, trataba ya de don Alberto El Viejo Breccia, el maestro, el big-bang de la historieta contemporánea mundial. Quién  otro entonces para festejar los 20 años de este blog, suerte de escuela virtual de los Famosos Artistas, para dibujantxs autodidáctas.

Subo  entonces estas imágenes, viejos escaneos de una pequeña pintura acrílica de Breccia fechada en 1987, y de un dibujo sin fecha, hecho sobre cartón, que tuve la suerte de ver hace muchísimos años, cuando Irma Dariozzi, la viuda de Breccia, estuvo en Europa para una muestra homenaje en Bélgica.

Varias otras sorpresas voy a subir este mes.

 

/// Something really anachronistic and outdated: a blog. The very first post of Troesmas (may 2006) was already about Alberto Breccia, the master, the Big-Bang of the contemporary comics. Who else then to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Troesmas blog ("masters" in Argentinean slang), a sort of virtual School of the Famous Artists, for self-taught artists. 

So I upload here two unpublished images by Breccia: the first one, a small acrylic painting from 1987, and the second one, a undated drawing made on scraperboard. Breccia's widow showed me these pictures many, many years ago, when she was in Europe for an hommage show in Belgium.

To celebrate I'll be posting various surprises this month.
